This is just a quick post, but I wanted to do something.

I'm also gonna go ahead and give y'all a mini update:
I was home sick from school most of last week which means I'm doing a bunch of make up work this week. Everyone has been in a panic because we had two weeks off because of snow, but nothing is being pushed back, so we lost two weeks of instructional time. The week after next my whole school system will be on spring break, and then Easter. So I'm gonna be busy for a while. I'll try and do a more constructive post later. Maybe later tonight actually. Anyway, I hope all of you are well. I'll post again soon.

Military songs

This is another Music Monday thing. But all these songs are gonna be like military songs that I really like.

Some of those songs, actually most of them are kinda of sad. Some of them are a little old too. But in my opinion, there still really good. Sorry this post is kinda short, I promise there's a longer one coming.

*I do not know the actual name, or singer of that song. But if you click the link you can listen to it. :)

More Music!

"Without music, life would be a mistake"

I have another list of songs that I wanted to share with everyone.

I absolutely love music. And the songs I have listed above are songs I listen to when Im getting ready for school. I get really into them and there just fun songs. Oh, and the quote above is by Friedrich Nietzsche.

I know I said my next post would have my bracelets and the movie list. But I thought a music Monday would be funner. And plus, I cant find my camera at this moment in time.

I am going to help!

So if you have read my blog before you know I don't like help. I don't like having someone help me or ask for help. Well I have learned that it is much easier when trying to help someone with a chronic illness that you say, I will help you, instead of, Can I help you. When someone asks, "Can I help you?" You can easily say no. Simple, you can say no. But if you don't give people the option to say no then they have to let you help them.

As everyone knows spring break is either coming up or your on it. Well mine is coming up really soon. (2 days) I am beyond excited. My brother is going to come over and work on my house. My little sister and I have some fun things planned for this week.

The week of April 25th is going to be a super busy week for me. My cousin K is getting married to my soon to be cousin D. K is a nurse working at a hospital by the beach. There wedding is going to be at the beach or coast as well. I am so excited about that. I get to go on a 2 day vacation. I still have to get a dress for the wedding which is one of the things I am doing over spring break.

I have a new list of favorite songs:
  1. International Harvester
  2. Hicktown
  3. Beer Money
  4. Hillbilly Bone
  5. Beer With Jesus
  6. I Drive Your Truck
  7. If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away
  8. Wanted
  9. I Wanna Talk About Me
That's my obsessively played songs right now.  Happy Easter to everyone!

I remember that Texaco that Mr. Logan used to own

Hey Everyone!

So I do this weird thing where I over analyze songs. Back by Colt Ford and Jake Owen happens to be one of them. You can here it right here it will open a new window. So let me explain this song.

Back
When life was simple as that
I didn't know I'd miss it so bad
When this whole world had way less worries, nobody in a hurry and back
To mama's home cookin' and dad
Was baitin' my hook and I'm sitting on a tailgate,
Thinking 'bout those days just
Wish I was
Back

This part is just kinda saying how much he misses being little, and he wants to go back. He wishes that it was simpler and there weren't as many worries. He also misses his mamas good cooking and fishin with his dad.

When I think about how it used to be, Lord it was so simple then
Dirt-bike and a fishin' pole at a fishin' hole with all my friends
Nothin' better than a BB gun in my backyard just huntin' squirrels
Took a ring from my mama's drawer and gave it to this little girl
Her mama called mine and then my daddy had to have a talk
I remember like yesterday what he said when we took that walk
"Son don't you ever tell no lie, even if the truth burns"
Everyday my mind goes back to all those lessons learned
And I wanna go

When I think about back then it was so simple and easy. Havin fun with my friends, there wasn't anything better than huntin squirrels. He took a ring and gave it to this girl he liked. It comes very easy to remember the walk he took with his dad when that talked about tellin lies. And he remembers the lessons everyday. So hes just describing what he used to do.

Back
When life was simple as that
I didn't know I'd miss it so bad
When this whole world had way less worries, nobody in a hurry and back
To mama's home cookin' and dad
Was baitin' my hook and I'm sitting on a tailgate,
Thinking 'bout those days just
Wish I was
Back

I remember that Texaco that Mr. Logan used to own
They turned in something else and Mr. Logan's long gone
My best friend David, he grew up ridin' in that wheelchair
Thought I'd give a million bucks if that old boy was still here
Ain't it funny how time goes by and memories seem to fade away
They built a parking lot on the baseball field we used to play
That skating ring is closed down, but now I see us back again
I remember those all night skates, very first dates and my old friend

He can remember the Texaco everybody knew that Mr. Logan owned. Mr. Logan died and they turned the Texaco into something else. His best friend David grew up in a wheel chair and he would give $1000000 if David was still here. Its funny how time flys and you forget old memories. They torn down the city baseball field. They closed the skating ring but now its open again.

My dad's gettin' older now but son he's still as tough as ever
Him and my little boy are best friends now, wish it could last forever
My mama is still the one I talk to when I need advice
She never ever let me down
God what will I do when she's not around

His dads gettin older, but his son and dad are best friends. Still gets advice from his mom. He doesn't know what hell do when shes gone.
So that's it for music Monday! Next weeks song will be Taylor Swift - Everything Has Changed - Feat. Ed Sheeran feel free to go listen to it here.
