Last

Hola!

I am always that kid over there. I am never the one that gets chosen 1st for sports. Try last. Yes, last. I understand why, its one of those judging a book by the cover things. I don't look like an athletic person. I don't consider myself super athletic. I cant run super fast, which is what most all sports require. But I am good at the technical aspect of it. I can hit a softball far, throw far, and steal. I am good at softball. When I played soccer I wasn't half bad either. Yea the running part was bad, but I always played defense or gaol. Nothing ever got passed me. People judge though, which is what your parents always taught you not to do. I don't like being picked last, it sucks. My brother always tells me, its nothing don't worry about it. But for some strange reason I am obsessed with it. I get the whole competitive thing, but if you don't give someone a chance how will you know.

When my softball team would choose teams for a scrimmage it was never she doesn't look like she can do anything lets not choose her. It was always, well Cameron played good in the last game let me choose her first. It was never about impressions. When there was a new girl she was always the first one chosen. For the reason of not making her feel lonely, or excluded. Which is exactly what my gym class does not do. They don't care if someone feels left out. I mean my gym teacher makes sure everyone gets a turn, but that's not the point. Whats gonna happen when he leaves? After winter break when for the 2nd time in 2 years my teacher leaves. I get the most amazing teachers, who mean alot and actually care. After winter break when we have a new teacher, are they gonna be the same way? Are they going to make sure everyone gets a turn? Or are they going to let those lonely last picked kids stand over in the cornor and do nothing? Please do tell me! I know this is so weird, but I don't want a new teacher. I don't want to get a teacher who doesn't care. I have had him for only the last few months. But a few months can make a difference in someones like. I'm not saying hes changed my life, or done anything like that. But he does know what has happened. I don't want to have to explain my family, explain why I cant run a mile under a given time. I don't want to get stuck with another teacher who feels they have to lie. I don't want someone who doesn't care. I have been given that whole long lecture about how everyone isn't always going to like me or care about me. I understand that. I also understand some teachers only care because there payed to. But I have been blessed with teachers who actually care.
